The world’s first and largest crowdfunding platform has chosen to rebrand with a full overhaul that includes a new logo and a new website, tailored to be equally suitable across handheld devices, tablets, and desktop computers.

Indiegogo’s innovative new logo embraces the brand’s customer-focused agenda by having the image of a past campaign within it, the image changes with each refresh of the page. The technique could also serve to reiterate the platform’s established credentials.

Photography and video is integral to the new visual identity and the new website makes full use of these resources to tell further success stories and to promote ongoing campaigns.

“The world deserves a platform where anyone can fund anything from any device,” says Slava Rubin, CEO of Indiegogo. “Today’s milestone advances the user experience globally on Indiegogo and is a major step towards the further personalization and mobilization of our industry.”

Indiegogo was founded in 2008 and was the first crowdfunding platform, it provides a global, democratic community with access to capital. The new website will begin rolling out today, with the full rebrand coming into play over the next two months.
