New strategy for comms research
A communications and marketing acquisition strives to deliver integrated brand development strategy.
Global brand, media and communications research company, Millward Brown, has acquired EffectiveBrands, a marketing strategy consultancy. The outcome will be Millward Brown Vermeer; a consultancy that drives brand-led business growth.
The acquisition has resulted in the merging of EffectiveBrands with Millward Brown’s ‘Optimor’ strategy consulting unit. EffectiveBrands, founded in 2001, brings with it an experienced brand marketing team and the Marketing2020 study, a global CMO research programme, as well as the BrandZ brand valuation database, and accompanying BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands rankings.
Travyn Rhall, CEO at Millward Brown, says, “As customers, employees and investors demand increased transparency and value from companies, business leaders face unprecedented complexity and disruption. With the formation of Millward Brown Vermeer, we are strengthening and expanding our offer to help organisations answer the key questions that unleash brand-led business growth and ensure that the resulting strategies are implemented effectively around the world.
