Asia-Pacific: The shortlist
The shortlist for Transform Awards Asia-Pacific reveals that the region has much to offer in the way of innovative brand development.
The awards – which recognise strategy and innovation in rebranding and brand development projects – also run in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa and in North America. Branding agencies, corporations and other organisations across China, Japan, Australia and other nations, have demonstrated that branding work in the Asia-Pacific region is of a very high standard.
The shortlist for Transform Awards Asia-Pacific has just been announced and those that have made the cut include HSBC and Merchant Cantos, Tiger Balm and Nicosia Creative, Meliá Hotels International and Labbrand and Murata Manufacturing and Living Group. Categories are grouped under ‘Content’, ‘Process’, ‘Strategy’, ‘Type’ and ‘Sector’, and the winners of the most prestigious awards, ‘Best overall visual identity’ and ‘Grand prix for excellence in rebranding’, will be announced on the night of the awards ceremony at the Harbour Grand hotel in Hong Kong.
The entries in each category were judged by a panel of industry experts, including representatives from Make-A-Wish Australia, BT Financial Group and Zurich Insurance Group. All winners will be announced at a ceremony on 18 November 2015. The event is a platform for organisations to share their brand transformation stories, as well as celebrate their work and progress.
The awards ceremony will be preceded by the Transform Conference Asia-Pacific; which will deliver a series of informative sessions on brand management. Topics covered will include rebranding, nation branding and differentiation. The event provides a current look at the brand landscape and provides delegates with the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with peers.
