MS charity to rebrand
The MS Society aims to refine its brand positioning with the help of communications agency, Arthur London and Code Computerlove, a digital agency that will oversee the redevelopment of its online applications.
John Palmer, executive director of marketing and communications at the MS Society, says, “We aim to position the MS Society as front of mind and more relevant to all those affected by MS in the UK, increase people’s propensity to support us and grow awareness and understanding of MS. We know we need to embed a digital mindset in the charity and explore new ways of using digital technologies to improve the lives of people affected by MS.”
It is hoped that the refresh will help the charity to engage with Multiple Sclerosis sufferers as well as their friends, families and fundraisers. This objective sits at the heart of the MS Society’s 2015-2019 strategy.
The charity will review its supporter and membership proposition and refresh its tone of voice, core messages, visual identity and brand architecture.
Nick Spindler, head of strategic planning and partner at Arthur London, says, “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with the team at the MS Society. We look forward to helping them future-proof the charity, making it relevant to the wider MS community for generations to come.”
Louis Georgiou, managing director of Code Computerlove, says, “There is a huge opportunity for the MS Society to not only engage with a wider audience through digital, but to improve its organisational effectiveness with a platform that is embedded within the organisation."
