This year's premier brand and rebrand projects are set to return to Dubai for the May 2017 Transform Awards MENA. With the shortlist now open for entries, brand agencies, organisations and companies can showcase excellence in a region where constant growth is enhanced by burgeoning innovation.

Now in its third year, the event celebrates Transform's recognition of brand development, evolution and strategy within the industry. Contributing to this, the ongoing development of all entries have led to this years awards being one of Transform's most anticipated.

Among last year's winners, Jaawy from STC and Lippincott took home the coveted Grand Prix, as well as a number of golden butterfly awards in categories such as 'Best visual identity from the technology, media & telecommunications sector' and 'Best strategic/creative development of a new brand.'

Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Transform magazine and awards, says, "For nine years the Transform Awards programme has benchmarked the journeys brands make. During these years we have seen some fabulous work, as agencies and in-house teams have increasingly realised winning an award or being nominated acts as a third party endorsement of their work, providing trust and confidence to potential new clients, partners and other stakeholders. As such, the calibre of entries get better every year. We are looking forward to seeing what this years range of submissions bring."

This year welcomes the inclusion of three new categories, 'Best localisation of an international brand,' 'Best development of a new brand within an existing brand portfolio' and 'Best visual identity: FMCG.' With over seven years of expansion, the global Transform awards have created a platform that hopes to continue providing opportunities for progress in the sector.

For a discounted entry, submit before 9 January. The final deadline will be on 6 February, and for further information or enquiries regarding the event, contact athomas@transformmagazine.net or call the Transform office on +44 (0)20 7498 7008.
