Transform Awards Asia-Pacific 2017 shortlist revealed
In recent years, brand work within the Asia-Pacific region has been plentiful. At its core, a diverse mixture of heritage and innovation thrive as striking identities and capacious brand projects feature across numerous sectors. Yet principally, as emerging markets and avenues of discovery reveal a limitless capacity for creativity, the Asia-Pacific region continues to prosper as one of the truest indicators of global brand development. This year’s Transform Awards Asia-Pacific shortlist captures the true breadth of talent on offer.
With a comprehensive programme spanning over 30 categories, this year’s shortlist features the best in brand work from industries such as financial services, charity, tourism and retail among others. Covering an in-depth breakdown of the branding process, including brand strategy, process and implementation, the awards continue to serve as the only true benchmark of branding excellence across the region. In addition, a thorough judging process sees each category carefully considered, with a thoughtful and intuitive inspection of what defines brand success across vast and varied touchpoints.
Last year’s winning projects saw the boundaries of brand experience, content and communication pushed far beyond the realm of comfort, with several brands daring to step into new and uncharted territories. Similarly, this year’s shortlist features a host of brands, from challengers to incumbents, expanding into unfamiliar branding areas. Shortlisted brands include the likes of Hyundai, HSBC, Amnesty International and Konica Minolta featuring in categories such as ‘Best use of audio branding’ and ‘Best development of a new brand within an existing brand portfolio.’
Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Transform magazine, says, “Now in its fourth year, the awards continue to offer an astute and authentic breakdown of brand work within the Asia-Pacific region, reflecting the burgeoning calibre of projects exhibited across the landscape, from Tokyo to Sydney. This year’s shortlist exemplifies the strength of brand throughout the business agenda, and we’re truly delighted to have such a breadth of quality before us.”
The awards are scheduled to take place in December. To book your place, email Valentina Rimatori.
