Transform Awards MENA 2017 shortlist announced

Developing at a pace beyond measure, the MENA region continues to harness brand development through industry advancement and collaboration that, more than ever before, speaks to the true power of the journeys brands make. As the fourth annual Transform Awards MENA celebrate another year of branding excellence, this year’s shortlist highlights the immense fecundity of the burgeoning landscape.

The 2017 programme introduces three new categories, including ‘Best localisation of an international brand,’ ‘Best development of a new brand within an existing brand portfolio’ as well as the addition of ‘Best visual identity in the food and beverage sector.’ Gaining early recognition, telecommunications company, Etisalat UAE, appear in number of categories, including ‘Best brand evolution’ and ‘Best brand experience,’ solidifying the domestic success of brand development in MENA.

Equally, diverse collaborations continue to pioneer the awards’ tradition of recognising unique and engaging projects across a wide range of sectors, with creativity and innovation shining through as region-wide components of brand strategy. Miral Asset Management’s work with Start Design equally garnered several shortlisted spots in categories such as ‘Best internal communications during a brand development project’ and ‘Best implementation of a brand development project across multiple markets.’

Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Transform magazine, says, “We saw some fabulous work among the winners of last year's Transform Awards. We're delighted to see even better work this year.
