Transform Awards Asia-Pacific 2018 now open for entries
The presence of brand across the Asia-Pacific region has long been a key driver of business. Comprised of some of the fastest growing economies in the world, its brand growth both domestically and internationally is seemingly limitless. Yet from visual identities to brand localisation, the spectrum of branding quality is widening. This year’s awards programme celebrates that quality, with its official call for this year’s entries announced today.
Entering its fifth year, the Transform Awards Asia-Pacific has experienced continuous expansion. Alongside Transform magazine, its tracing of the industry’s wider developments has led to the awards’ global evolution. This year’s programme aims to further its commitment to recognising quality across various branding touchpoints, awarding winners in over 30 categories dedicated to branding’s developing diversity.
Last year’s awards proved exemplary in its exhibition of just how diverse and capacious the landscape has become across the Asia-Pacific region. Notably, the work of global brand consultancy, Elmwood, in its promotion of the Homeward Bound initiative saw gender parity form the crux of its brand work, bringing the issues of equality to the forefront of the project and winning the Grand Prix in the process. Similarly, Australian brand and communications agency, Traffic, won ‘Best overall visual identity’ for its rejuvenation of the Brakes Plus automotive servicing brand.
Yet this year’s awards aim to welcome a greater crop of entries harnessing the gold-standard mentality of brand work, manifested in brand development strategy, leadership and communications. Welcoming over 20 industry-renowned specialists on the judging panel, each entry will be met with meticulous consideration, a feature unique to the Transform Awards.
Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Transform magazine, says, “We’ve seen an incredible amount of growth for the Transform Awards Asia-Pacific over the past five years, owing to the abundance of quality in the region. Last year, for example, we saw a noticeable increase in entries from Australasia. This year, we are looking forward to continuing our celebration of quality-driven brand development work across the Asia-Pacific region.”
The awards will be held in late November 2018, with the final entry deadline set for 27 July 2018. Early entry deadlines will receive $100 off the total entry cost, if submitted before 1 June 2018. This offer will end on 29 June 2018. For further information on entering, attending or sponsoring, contact Ash Sandys or call +442074987008.
