Transform's Young Contenders are building a better brand industry
Transform magazine covers rebranding and brand development, strategy, design and creative across Europe’s brand industry, and beyond. The industry is developing and maturing, proving with more confidence its value to businesses. Some of the industry’s leading lights are some of its youngest talents.
Transform’s Young Contenders were celebrated at the inaugural event on 28 November. The 13 talented young strategists and designers are changing the branding industry for the better. They’re making an impact on their own businesses while pushing for better creative communications more broadly.
This year’s ‘Strategic Young Contender of the year’ and ‘Creative Young Contender of the year’ are true shining stars. Louise Branth, of Interbrand, named ‘Strategic Young Contender of the year,’ has exhibited a non-stop commitment to strategy and brand development that has helped Interbrand and its clients to achieve more. Her passion for improving the perception of brand strategy is changing the game for consultants. Emma Grencis, Baxter & Bailey’s designer and the ‘Creative Young Contender of the year,’ has put a considered approach to design to work for clients, achieving contemporary, timeless and assertive work in the process. Her ability to take on prominent work and make a real impact for her clients through design makes her a worthy recipient of the accolade.
But all of this year’s Young Contenders are celebrated for their ingenuity, their passion for building a better brand industry and the achievements that far outstrip their ages. This is only one step in the journey toward changing the brand industry for the better, but the excellent work, extraordinary motivation and incredible talent recognised by the judges of these awards prove that journey will be a successful one.
