Successful companies are those that focus their efforts and energy on a strong employer brand. Strategies that are creative, targeted and authentic to the organisation will reap the benefits of a hardworking, effective workforce and a strong company culture.

The companies shortlisted in this year’s Employer Brand Management Awards exemplify the best practice in the development, implementation and oversight of the employer brand. For those celebrated on the shortlist, employer brand management is a key factor to their business success.

Many on the shortlist this year have focused their efforts on employer brands that work for both the global audience and the local audiences. Others have deployed employer brand programmes to galvanise the internal audience or capitalise on a strong internal culture when positioning the company to the recruitment audience. And the results have been creative, forward-thinking and well-targeted.

Arval UK, which was shortlisted twice, used its employees’ own perceptions of the business to build a hardworking employer brand that has changed the way Arval is perceived. Odeon Cinemas Group has developed its employer brand over the course of several years, a fact that has served it well after being acquired by AMC. Others, like Airbus, SAP and Vodafone have focused on ensuring elements of digital or creative innovation as a means to develop the employer brand.

“Effective employer brand management is crucial to the success of any business. We’re pleased to announce the shortlist for the 2019 Employer Brand Management Awards. Each company nominated is truly helping to set the benchmark for excellence in employer brand management across Europe,” says publishing editor of Transform magazine, Brittany Golob.

The winners will be announced at a celebratory dinner on 13 March at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in central London. To book your table, email Lauren or call +44 (0) 20 3950 5356.
