Independent creative agency London-based agency Don’t Panic has teamed up with Nice N’ Spiky Comedy for a virtual comedy night in aid of Black Minds Matter UK, with the aim of celebrating black joy and showing that laughter can be a tool in the fight against injustice while also raising funds for an important cause.

All profits from the event will be donated to Black Minds Matter UK, which works on making mental health more accessible to black communities and reducing the stigma around it. The charity seeks to connect black individuals and families with professional mental health services and resources, including up to 12 weeks of therapy.

Don’t Panic has always been a firm believer that approaching issues with humour is a great way of engaging people with difficult topics, from the series The Revolution Will be Televised to their ongoing work with non-profits and purpose-driven brands. The line up will include performances from Stephen K Amos, seen on shows such as Have I Got News For You and comedian, actress and writer Thanyia Moore.

The show will take place over Zoom on the 23rd July from 8:45 - 10.15 pm BST. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite >>HERE<<
