Design technologists ON create new website for HudsonBec Group

London-based global design-led technology company, ON, designed a new website for HudsonBec Group, a group of four creative companies.

The brief was to redesign the website around HudsonBec Group’s central mission: to enable creativity to thrive. The website also had to demonstrate the diversity of the group, its culture and its approach to creativity, collaborators and clients alike.

To do so, ON used splashes of bright colours, a typographic mix and interactive images to develop a bolder and more interactive website, which captures the Group’s creativity.

The nature of the brief called for a cross-functional methodology, in which the designing, prototyping and development phases were carried out simultaneously. Including the development team at the outset enabled ON to prototype and experiment with design ideas from the very start.

“This project is fundamentally very digital-first. We designed and programmed the site at the same time- it's really entangled together,” says Tudinh Duong, ON Founding partner and MD.

Equally central to the success of the project was the collaborative partnership between client and agency as fostering these relationships helped create a smooth and engaging user experience.
