Genius Sports reveals new brand identity ahead of NYSE listing
Ahead of the NYSE listing, Genius Sports Group, the official data and commercial partner that connects sports, betting and media, revealed that the business’ full portfolio of solutions will exist under a single brand, Genius Sports.
Genius Sports worked with creative agency Dragon Rouge to develop a vibrant new brand identity that reinforces the company’s aim to be a leader and innovator in sports technology and data. The rebrand sees Genius Sports dropping Betgenius and Genius Sports Media, and instead organising its solution in only four product areas: sportstech, video, sportsbook and media and engagement.
“This unified approach will help strengthen our value proposition, serve our partners’ needs and articulate our vision of creating personalized fan experiences via the convergence of sports, betting, advertising and streaming,” says Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports.
“For more than 20 years, we have never been afraid to walk our own path and our new branding will create a distinct position for us in the market,” he adds.
Along with the new logo, the colour palette has also been updated. The black typeface and the white in the logo give space to a new shade of electric blue. The new brand aims to speak to connectivity and innovation. Its simple design is made so that a wider audience can understand the full breadth of the brand’s capabilities.
