PR solutions company rebrands with aim to diversify business model

TT 16 March CIJ

Since the pandemic hit in 2020, many businesses have struggled to keep afloat, and have looked at ways to diversify their business models and offer new services or change the way of delivering previous ones to survive. PR company CIJ Group, formerly Christmas in July, has rebranded and is now thriving with the change in business model.

The CIJ Group now supports 134 brands, retailers and PR agencies with virtual solutions. With the company going into its fifth year, and previously specialising in Christmas events, the founder took the decision in the midst of the pandemic to overhaul, rebrand and level up.

The new company name, CIJ Group Ltd, was chosen to reflect the heart of the business - connecting PRs with influencers and ournalists. It also retains the brand heritage with the acronym CIJ.

“Our rebrand as CIJ Group reflects our year-round solutions beyond Christmas, plus the recent acceleration in changes to the retail and media landscape, meaning July is now too early for many brands, retailers and publications when it comes to launching for Christmas,” says Courtney Rogers, founder of CIJ Group.
