Studio Blackburn creates a new visual identity for global trend forecasting agency

Trend forecasting agency, TrendBible, worked with international brand agency, Studio Blackburn, to develop a new visual identity.

The rebrand had to allow space to showcase the shifting tends without visually clashing or competing with them, explains Mark Jones, design director at Studio Blackburn.

“The identity had to be adaptable in order for it to work alongside current and future trends and across multiple applications. Our solution was to develop an identity with no fixed colour palette, allowing colour to come through the use of imagery and adapting the palette based on seasonal trends,” he says.

In addition to the simple wordmark, Studio Blackburn also created a graphic arrow as a representation of the ever-changing landscape of trend forecasting. This provided the brand with a symbol that could be used in a logo lock-up or as a device to house imagery within different compositions on a grid.

“Studio Blackburn managed to capture our ambition and helped us shape a brand profile that has really motivated and excited our team. I feel like they have been pivotal in helping us gear up for our next exciting phase of growth,” says Joanna Feeley, founder & CEO of TrendBible.
