Transform magazine launches inaugural Transform’s Young Contenders MEA 2022

Transform magazine is proud to launch Transform’s Young Contenders MEA 2022, which recognise the young talents making an outstanding contribution to the creative industry in the region.

Transform magazine has extended its Young Contenders awards programme, with a new initiative focusing solely on the Middle East and Africa.

Opening for entries on 4 January 2022, the Young Contenders MEA awards programme identifies the next generation of strategic, creative and innovative brand specialists in the region, celebrating those who show the most promise as young professionals.

The Young Contenders programme was launched in Europe in 2019. Over the past three years 29 young professionals have been recognised by the programme, from agencies that have included Interbrand, Siegel&Gale and Massive Music.

For all professions, talent attraction seems to be a major challenge, but as Andrew Thomas, publisher of Transform magazine, said “Increasingly organisations are understanding the transformative power brand strategy and design can bring to their businesses. Consequently the services and talents of brand agencies have never been more in demand. Agencies need to employ the brightest and best talent and employing Young Contenders is an excellent way of showing how seriously they take staff development.”

Transform’s Young Contenders MEA 2022 will be judged by a panel of industry experts from brand design, marketing, corporate communications and advertising disciplines. Nominations can be made by agencies or in-house employers, or by the prospective Young Contender themselves. Entrants and nominators have to show evidence of the young contender’s work and the achievements they’ve obtained in their work.

Entries will be accepted until 17 March 2022 and all nominees must be aged 30 years or under on 31 December 2021. Entries are accepted from organisations or individuals working in the Middle East and Africa only.
