Transform Awards Europe 2023 shortlist revealed

TAE 1

Remaining the continent’s only dedicated celebration of rebranding, repositioning and brand development, Transform magazine is proud to announce the full shortlist for the Transform Awards Europe 2023.

Celebrating the transformative power of rebranding and brand development, the Transform Awards are back in Europe for a 14th consecutive year.

Some of this year’s most hotly contended categories include ‘Best use of audio branding’, ‘Best creative strategy’, ‘Best brand evolution (corporate)’ and ‘Best naming strategy (new name)’, each of which contain seven shortlisted projects. Other categories of note, and featuring a number of excellent branding projects, include ‘Best use of a visual property’, ‘Best brand experience’ and ‘Best use of typography’. Meanwhile, great interest will be placed in this year’s new category, ‘Best expression of a brand on social media’.

With 48 categories in all this year (excluding our special recognition awards), every project will be attempting to emulate the success of last year’s ‘Grand prix’ winner, Mustard and Kimpton Creative. Adopting a copy style which successfully spoke to creatives in their own language, the project won big on the night, scooping up a further two Golds, a Silver and a Bronze.

Andrew Thomas, founder of the Transform Awards programme, says, “Agencies and in-house teams realise that it is the transformative power of brand strategy and brand design that has ensured stronger post-Covid brands. The Transform Awards Europe has seen such a strong resurgence in the past year, with entries up 75% since before the pandemic, and I’ve no doubt that this year’s awards will surpass anything seen before in terms of quality, diversity and delivering overall branding excellence.”

Our judges, who meticulously read each and every submission to determine which would make the cut this year, hailed from a variety of highly reputable organisations including Buzzfeed, BSI, Channel 4, NOW and Temenos. It was their responsibility to judge entries on the basis of creativity, strategic approach, implementation and impact.

All those shortlisted in the Transform Awards Europe will take home either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended trophy. The winners will be announced at a very special awards ceremony on 22 March 2023 held at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, Central London.

Reserve your table by the end of January for the chance to get a Platinum table for the price of a Gold, a saving of over £600. Also, book your table online by 22 December and receive a magnum of champagne to start your celebrations early.
