Transform Awards Nordics 2022 winners announced
Representing the best in corporate, product and global brand design and strategy, the Transform Awards celebrate excellence in rebranding and brand development from all around the world. Transform magazine is proud to announce this year’s winners in the Nordics region.
The clear winner on the night, and scooping up the coveted ‘Grand prix’ award, was BANG Agency for its project with Finnish IoT firm Wirepas. Standing out from the crowd, the agency’s no-nonsense work saw the production of eight humorous commercials which gave life to a function-driven industry. In total, the project picked up four Gold awards on the night including for ‘Best use of a visual property’ and ‘Best creative strategy’.
Judges were unanimously impressed, citing the “perfect execution” demonstrated by BANG Agency. “The challenge was clear, they wanted to stand out, which is hard in IoT,” said one judge, “but I think they succeed in it with clear differentiation and positioning in the market.”
Elsewhere, Bladonmore’s project with small satellite technologies firm AAC Clyde Space also had a successful evening. Described as a “solid and comprehensive execution” by one judge, the project picked up a Gold in ‘Best implementation of a brand development project’ and a Silver in ‘Best visual identity by sector’.
Every entry was judged by a panel of brand and regional experts against criteria determining strategic and creative success. The winners were celebrated last night at the iconic Grand Hôtel in Stockholm, Sweden.
Andrew Thomas, publisher of Transform magazine and founder of the Transform Awards Nordics, says, "This is the third year we have celebrated the transformative power of brand strategy and design within the Nordic countries, but because of the pandemic the awards ceremonies until now have taken place online. It was fantastic to bring so much creative talent together at what really was a fabulous evening. The Transform Awards Nordics has grown every year, and already I know our team has started work on making sure that next year’s event will be an even bigger celebration."
