Transform Awards ANZ 2023 shortlist announced
Transform is excited to return down under for a fourth time as it announces the shortlist for this year’s Transform Awards ANZ. It remains the only awards programme in the region to celebrate the transformative power of rebranding and brand development.
The 2022 edition of the awards proved to be an exciting affair, with NSW Government and For The People beating strong competition on the night to claim the highly sought-after ‘Grand prix’ – the most prestigious trophy at the Transform Awards. Also setting the bar high for this year’s shortlisted entries was Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation and SunnySideUp, whose excellent work was rewarded with winning the prestigious ‘Best overall visual identity’.
The most hotly contended categories this year are ‘Best strategic or creative development of a new brand’ and ‘Best visual identity by a charity, NGO or NFP’, with as many as seven projects vying for Gold. Elsewhere, six entrants will battle it out in the following categories: ‘Best use of a visual property’, ‘Best use of copy style or tone of voice’, ‘Best use of packaging’, ‘Best creative strategy’, ‘Best corporate rebrand following a merger or acquisition’ and ‘Best brand development project to reflect a change of mission, values or positioning’.
Each entry was examined by a panel of expert judges who hail from a wide variety of businesses and organisations including Amazon, New Zealand Olympic Committee and PwC Australia. The judges focused on creativity, innovation, strategic excellence and implementation when they determined which organisations demonstrated excellence in rebranding and brand strategy.
The awards ceremony is set to take place in Sydney at the Jones Bay Heritage Wharf on 23 November. More details on the event can be found here. Many congratulations to all of our wonderful shortlisted companies.
