In partnership with international design consultancy Lonsdale, Clarins has created an interactive pop-up in Hainan’s Sanya Phoenix International Airport to appeal to the sophisticated taste of Asia’s Gen Z consumers. Lonsdale has integrated modern aesthetics within the cosmetic brand’s experience in the form of digital technology that the younger demographic can easily interact with. There are plans to introduce the retail format featuring avatars and physical immersion to multiple airports across APAC. Nadia Romanis, managing director at Lonsdale Asia, says this project encapsulates “the brand’s commitment to innovation” as it creates a meaningful impact on young consumers.
