Collins rebrands Offf Festival ahead of 25th anniversary
Offf touts itself as a space that promotes innovation, collaboration and inspiration. The organisation, which hosts its main festival in Barcelona each year but also tours to Mexico City, Vienna and Tel Aviv, is set to celebrate 25 years of showcasing contemporary creativity in May 2025. It required an iconic brand to match its increasing popularity, so called on US transformation consultancy Collins to help achieve this.
Inspired by its new ‘Centre Offf Gravity’ concept, the revised brand hopes to appear ‘grounded yet forward-thinking, timeless yet provocative, and mature yet expressive.’ This is represented by the ‘Offf magnetic forces’, which demonstrate how the organization is a meeting point for diverse minds as well as a catalyst for expanding ideas and knowledge.
The work by Collins includes an updated logo, typography and website.
Pep Salazar, director of OFFF, says, "Twenty-five years of Offf Festival has been an incredible journey. As a community and a space for discovering new visual trends where inspiration flows freely, we now reignite our imagination to usher in a new era of Offf – one focused on moving forward and creating."
Brian Collins, Collins’ co-founder, adds, "For a quarter-century, the remarkable people at Offf have not only redefined the conversation about creativity for each of us as individuals, artists and designers, but they have built a real and welcoming international community, enabling people to support each other in ways none of us could never do alone.
“In the end, there is nothing, nothing, nothing stronger than a community of imaginative people determining and advocating what they most deeply care about. We are beyond honored to work with Offf, taking what's rare and best, and giving this community's ambition a new voice and an even bigger future."
