New skincare brand aims to shield city skin
Urban Kind, a new Swedish skincare company, partnered with Scandinavian consumer branding agency Everland to design the packaging for its products. The product range targets customers living in cities, claiming it will serve as a 'protective shield' against smog, sun and stress.
Urban Kind is a Swedish company that focuses on preserving the skin of city dwellers. With that in mind, Everland designed shields to be included on the packaging which showcase its protective properties.
The packaging also includes handwritten typography to help forge a personal connection between brand and consumer. Additionally, the design aims to showcase the importance of self-care rituals through the use of symbols that guide consumers through their skincare routine.
Carl Johan Larsson, creative director and partner at EVERLAND, comments, "We centred the visual concept around 'protection', reflecting it elegantly and minimalistic, resonating with Urban Kind’s Nordic ancestry in a universal urban way.”
