Universal Favourite launches puzzles to embrace piece and relaxation

Design studio Universal Favourite has released its new, limited-edition puzzle series, ‘Piece of Mind’. The three puzzles draw inspiration from ‘JOMO’, or the joy of missing out.

Each year, design group Universal Favourite crafts a gift for their clients. In 2023, the Sydney-based design studio sought to make an invitation to rest and recharge. The agency opted for the idea of puzzles, an activity that allows people to take things slow. 

Crafted by in-house illustrators, each of the three puzzles depict interpretations of ‘JOMO’, along with easter egg additions of past clients. Designed by Joy Li, ‘The Homebody Club’ focuses on the art of hanging out and doing nothing together. Jack Forrest’s ‘Room with a View’ captures the comfort of being home. Finally, Lucy McGinley’s design underlines the importance of finding joy in the ordinary with ‘A Still Life’. 

Ranging in difficulty levels from Piece of Cake (easy) to Rest in Piece (hard), the puzzles welcome everyone from experts to beginners. They are available for purchase on the Universal Favourites website.
