Verbatim reveals modern brand identity to redefine its role in everyday life
Global electronics brand Verbatim partnered with UK creative design agency Dusted to launch a new brand identity. The hope is the redesign will transition Verbatim from a legacy brand to a modern lifestyle brand.
Having been around since 1969, the technology company is known for pioneering floppy disks and optical media. Verbatim partnered with creative design agency Dusted to reinvent itself, ensuring the new brand was recognisable and desirable for modern consumers.
Dusted sought to reposition the company's mobile accessory products from office supplies to everyday, modern necessities. The tagline “Anywhere. Everyday” was crafted to underpin this transformation.
Dropping pragmatism for the humanisation of the brand, its new imagery displays people in different environment, from offices to the countryside. In addition, the logo has been modernised and promotes legibility across digital platforms.
The new identity was revealed at the Taipei International Information Technology Show (COMPUTEX), a computer and technology trade show in Taiwan.
