Vereen brand launches following elderly care companies merger

10. Vereen Vlags Synsation

Dutch agencies Bureauvijftig and Synsation collaborated to craft a brand identity for a new elderly care company, following the merger of companies Driezorg and Zonnehuisgroep IJessel-Vecht. The new identity hopes to evoke unity.

The two elderly care firms combined their caretaking companies to create Vereen. Marketing consultancy Bureauvijftig was tasked with creating a brand strategy with a mission and vision, while brand design agency Synsation was responsible for creating the name, logo and visual identity. 

The chosen name, 'Vereen', was deemed to be personal and friendly, as well as also having the ability to resonate with the company's board and offer practical, everyday use.

The logo, which had to please all stakeholders, aimed to align visually with Vereen's brand positioning, be coherent with the new name and also reflect a mission of 'coming together'. 

With the new visual identity crafted, the next step was creating the 'BrandBook'. This book shares the story of the brand and acts as a guide for the company's vision. It provides rules and guidelines for the implementation of Vereen's design elements.
