Transform proud to announce winners at inaugural Diamond Awards

TDA 2025 Winners Announced News Story

For the past 16 years, the Transform Awards has celebrated the transformative power of brand strategy and design across five continents in the form of region-based awards nights. In 2024, it decided to create a bold new offering, the Transform Diamond Awards, that would allow the world’s very best branding agencies and creative teams to compete in a very special awards programme.

All projects from Transform’s five annual awards programmes (ANZ, Asia, Europe, MEA and North America) in 2024 were eligible to enter the Diamond Awards, provided they won Gold. This celebration of the diversity and innovation that span the world doubled up as a competition of unparalleled magnitude.

The Gold-winning projects that entered were then scrutinised by Transform’s international panel of judges, who hailed from companies including Colgate-Palmolive, Google and Salesforce.

Big winners on the night included LEGO and Interbrand, which quite remarkably scooped up the Diamond Award in three categories: ‘Best Use of a Visual Property,’ ‘Best Brand Evolution (Consumer)’ and ‘Best Brand Consolidation.’ Its sister entrant, LEGO BRICK PRO and Interbrand, also won Diamond in the ‘Best Use of Typography’ category. In fact, only Seddiqi Holding and BOND could stop LEGO and Interbrand from completing a clean sweep, with the former winning ‘Best Visual Identity from the Retail Sector,’ along with further Diamonds in the ‘Best Implementation of a Brand Development Project’ and ‘Best Development of a New Brand Within an Existing Brand Portfolio’ categories.

Other standout projects included TikTok and MassiveMusic, which won Diamond in ‘Best Use of Audio Branding’ and ‘Best Expression of a Brand on Social Media Channels,’ and Moody's and Interbrand, which won big in ‘Best Internal Communications During a Brand Development Project’ and ‘Best Creative Strategy (Corporate).’ Aston Villa and Dragon Rouge also scooped up two Diamond trophies in ‘Best External Stakeholder Relations During a Brand Development Project’ and ‘Best Visual Identity from The Sports and Leisure Sector.’

Jack Cousins, Transform magazine’s editor, says, “It was an ambitious feat for the Transform team to pull off. Collaborating with previous awards winners from across five continents was a seismic task, but we were enthralled to see how excited branding agencies – from New York to Ho Chi Minh City – were to participate.

“This is the first time Transform has run an awards programme dedicated to celebrating brand transformation throughout the entire world. It has been such a hit that I have a suspicion it won’t be the last time either. So, a huge congratulations to our newly crowned Diamond Winners who are the flagbearers of transformative brand strategy and design.”
