Transform Awards NA.jpg

As brand projects become more collaborative and encompassing, the criteria for what makes a successful brand is constantly being challenged. Brands and agencies reach new standards of creativity and innovation. In North America, the growing diversity within branding shows no sign of faltering. The Transform Awards North America has honored the myriad of brand development projects in North America for the past three years, and this year’s shortlist, above all, exemplifies a superior caliber of work.

This year’s shortlist features a host of established names, many often synonymous with longstanding branding strategies that have pioneered brand work globally. Haagen-Dazs and Nestle’s Purina for example, showcased noteworthy efforts in categories such as ‘Best use of packaging’ and ‘Best brand experience.’

Categories such as ‘Best use of typography,’ sought to bring branding aesthetics to the forefront of the landscape, with shortlisted work from Cadillac, Dell and Ford among others. The awards’ sector categories recognizes the best in sector for those in the education, financial services and engineering and manufacturing industries, among others. Projects such as Zenni Optical sought to reinvent the eyewear category by delivering an augmented choice to its audience at lower costs. With branding that aimed to bring out a relatable, bright and unique aspects to eyewear, Zenni Optical was named in many shortlisted categories, including ‘Best use of copy style/tone of voice,’ and ‘Best implementation of a brand development project.’

The standard of the awards increases each year and the judging process remains inclusive, open, and rigorous. Wendy Opsahl, VP of communications at Atlas Research and awards judge, says, “I had such a great time reviewing the submissions and I’m blown away by the creativity and conscious approach to branding. After finishing the scoring, I would welcome the opportunity to judge future awards programs.”

Both the Transform conference and awards programme is scheduled for 2 November 2017. To book your places at both, click here.
